The Fellowship is the training arm of NXP — an institute drawn from three decades of standing up innovation programs (IBM, Pharma), transformation programs (JB Hi-Fi, Technicolor), and funds (Cultivate Next with Chipotle, Industrious Ventures), turned into a working training-and-development program for the next generation of investors, operators, and program builders.
How to stand up an innovation function inside a large enterprise. The model refined across IBM and Pharma and now carried into corporate partners today.
How to move a whole company to a new operating footing. The JB Hi-Fi and Technicolor playbooks for using external innovation as a lever for internal change.
Thesis to LP formation to portfolio construction to follow-on and exit. Taught from live NXP fund work including Cultivate Next with Chipotle and Industrious Ventures.
Partner-specific programs
The institute can be white-labeled and re-cut for a specific partner: corporate leadership development in innovation, GP education for a family of emerging managers, or an internal fellowship for a portfolio company. Same curriculum spine, tuned to the partner’s people, mandate, and stage.
Recent iterations include a partner-branded General Partner Education Program: a cohort platform that runs an emerging fund manager through in-person orientation, virtual sessions, structured mentoring, and an LP Showcase, and leaves them institutional-ready.
